New Dollhouse trailer - now with 100% less Penikett!

At least the music's better than the first one (although a bit emo for my taste.

I'm also not sure about taking out Tahmoh Penikett's character from the promo - he's pretty recognisable these days. I suppose from a certain perspective Fox don't care because Whedon and Dushku have a built-in audience.

Still, I expected something a little more high octane...

Angels & Demons trailer online

Someone's got to be interested in the follow up (pretty sure the book was before, but okay) to The Da Vinci Code, right?

Right?

24 Season Seven Trailer

Revamped from last year's season seven preview, which was derailed due to the Writers' Strike, the new preview includes more Tony Todd, more
Carlos Bernard
and - somewhat worryingly - more Kiefer Sutherland channelling David Caruso.

Conan! What is Worst in Life?

"To hear the lamentation of my followers and fans when they hear my adventures are to be directed by Brett Ratner!"

Now I don't hold the same kind of disregard for X3 that, say, everyone else has...but all the same, this does kind of concern me. I'd much rather have someone like Ridley Scott on the new Conan movie, but I know that's a pipe dream.

Even so. Brett Ratner? Really?

Zack and Miri Make A Porno Posters

I'm obviously behind the times because I hadn't realised that the posters I've been seeing all over New York for Kevin Smith's Zack and Miri Make A Porno starring Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks weren't originally supposed to be like this:
They were supposed to be like this:

...but were banned by the MPAA for alluding to oral sex, blowjobs, and, presumably, Seth Rogen ruining the perfectly lovely Elizabeth Banks in the minds of men everywhere.
I believe it's time for this (even if it's about the FCC and not the MPAA):

New Star Trek pictures hit - and Spock will eat your brain...

Well, probably not because that would be disgusting.

But still, isn't the ol' Vulcan looking a tad emotional here? There could be a plot point for it, I suppose, and I guess this is a younger Spock who had just recovered from shouting on Pike's Enterprise but still...

Star Trek pictures are being released to start the build up to the release of the movie in 2009, including that oddly emotional Spock. Others below...(click any image to embiggen).

Eric Bana's Romulan villain Nero looking mean:

A bad day for the old USS Kelvin (well, it's an early registry number so I assume it's old):

Jim Kirk and an Enterprise escape pod of some kind:

The bridge of the Enterprise, with Kirk, a pensive Bones, Spock and Sulu. It reminds me a little of the Enterprise NX-01 bridge. I guess I'd thought they might keep the original design for some reason.

Obviously not.

The Spock-less crew of the USS Enterprise - Chekov, Kirk, Scotty, Bones, Sulu and Uhura:

I'm not going to get my pants in a twist over the fact that Chekov didn't show up on the Enterprise until the second season.

I'm not.

I'm just going to be all non-nerdy and say that these images look somewhat cool and that I'm looking forward to the movie. All images were via AICN, and EW has an exclusive article in the new issue and online here.

Castle Trailer - starring Nathan Fillion

A trailer for Nathan Fillion's new show Castle has surfaced on You Tube...looks pretty generic, sadly. A bit of a Bones role-reversal with a novelist instead of a forensic anthropologist.

That said, it does seem that it capitalises on Fillion's charm and comedy chops which isn't a bad thing.

It took a few seconds to load for me, so have patience!

PG Porn Episode 1 - Starring Nathan Fillion

A new web series from Slither director James Gunn, starring porn stars and legit actors too.

Everything you like about porn...except the sex!

Fringe Episode 1- Full

Fringe started this fall on Fox, and while the devil's network is well known for screwing with shows this X-Files - meets Lost by way of Frankenstein show is gaining ground creatively so far!

Catch up on episodes on Hulu.

The Spirit final trailer

I still don't care about this movie, in spite of a decent cast. Miller's vision of Eisner's classic here still feels too close to Sin City for my liking.
